If not, then… uh oh… either you’re not meeting enough people or you’re burning your bridges.
Dating is all about trying on hats, and most of them won’t fit. At least not for the romantic relationship position you’re looking to fill. But that doesn’t mean that it’s in your best interest to quickly discard this person.
Here’s a quick test to see if you’re falling into the Quick-to-dismiss trap:
Look through your little black book, which today is more likely to be your Contacts list on your phone. Count the number of opposite sex pals you have – people you could invite to a cocktail party or a singles event. Do that test.
How many did you find?
If you found less than a dozen, then you are missing lots and lots of opportunities.
